ACTOM Power Transformers (APT) manufactures a full range of transformers from 2MVA to 315MVA with voltages up to 275kV. These transformers are supplied to Utilities for their Generation, Transmission and Power Distribution requirements as well as the mining and Industrial sector, public works authorities and wind and solar renewables applications. The units are supplied directly to end users or to contractors providing turnkey solutions. The range includes step down transformers for substations as well as specialised step up Inverter transformers for use in renewables applications. These inverter transformers are also offered in a skid or containerised solution which includes the MV and LV switchgear.

The APT Services division offers transporting, erecting and commissioning of units to site as well as comprehensive maintenance plans and site services. APT’s own In-house developed Condition Monitoring system further allows the customer to monitor their transformers in real time on the APT customer interface platform.
