Neutral Earthing Couplers with Resistors and Auxiliary Transformers (NECRT’s)

ACTOM Distribution Transformers Designs and Manufactures Combined Oil Immersed Neutral Electromagnetic Couplers with Neutral Earthing Resistors and Auxiliary Transformers (NECRT’s) designed to provide controlled neutral grounding for medium to high-voltage distribution networks. These engineered systems limit earth fault current and stabilize network performance from 6.6kV up to 44kV Delta connected distribution systems, protecting transformers, switchgear and substation infrastructure.

Testing Facilities

ACTOM Distribution Transformers operates under ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and SANS 780:2019 accreditation. The Knights facility includes three independent test facilities capable of routine, type and special testing in accordance with SANS 780 and IEC 60076 standards, ensuring transformer performance, reliability and compliance.
