They also provide specialised depot assembly and test equipment such as wheel presses, bogie testing presses, various test equipment and power supplies through their representation in Southern Africa of BBM and IRMIE Impianti of Italy.

Our business was founded in 1907 as a specialised Railway Signalling business and today we are a leading Southern African business in the fields of railway automation, signalling and control systems, with a comprehensive turnkey capability and an extensive range of products.

We are registered in categories 9EP and 9ME with the CIDB (Construction Industry Development Board).

ACTOM Signalling has implemented and maintains a documented quality management system that complies with DIN EN ISO 9001: 2015 which has been audited and verified by DQS GmbH. DQS Certificate Number 456121 QM15.

We have also implemented a documented health and safety management system that complies with ISO 45001:2018 which has been audited and verified by DQS GmbH. DQS Certificate Number 456121 OSH18.
